Athletic Hall of Fame
Dundalk High School
The Dundalk High School Hall of Fame will recognize outstanding athletes, coaches, and other outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to Dundalk’s athletic program.
Athletes will become eligible five years after graduating from Dundalk, while coaches and other individuals may become eligible after retirement from coaching or their involvement with the school.
The nominee must have made an outstanding contribution to his or her sport while attending Dundalk. This may include recognition as All-County, All-Metro, All-State, All-American, school record holder, and other notable honors. The nominee must exemplify outstanding qualities of character and sportsmanship while representing Dundalk and also throughout the years following graduation. The nominee should serve as a positive role model, worthy of being emulated by students, both current and in the future. In the event that an inducted individual becomes unworthy of this honor, they can be removed from the Hall of Fame.
The nomination form must be submitted to the athletic director where they shall be kept on file for five years. Nominations not selected may be reconsidered for a subsequent induction class. After five years, an individual may be renominated with a new nomination form. The Hall of Fame Committee will review all nominees by July 15th of each year. The committee will meet and make selections for induction during the annual Homecoming festivities.
Announcements and notices for solicitation of nominees will be communicated through the local newspapers, school and booster web sites, the PTSA news letter, at homecoming, and class reunions. The nomination form can be found under the “Athletic Forms” heading at the top of the homepage (dundalkathletics.org). Please send completed forms to Mr. Maki, at 1901 Delvale Ave. Baltimore, MD 21222.
